Park Program: Rocks in the Making
Park Program: Rocks in the Making
Through a series of demonstrations, games and observations, students will become familiar with the rock cycle, and how rocks and minerals are formed and transformed. Students will observe satellite images of the earth in order to learn how some common geologic features come into being.
There will be a preschool program for those not participating in the park program.
The same program will be offered on both April 2nd and April 16th to accommodate our group. Please register below for only one date.
Pack a picnic and come early for lunch and a play time in the park before the program begins.
Please dress for the weather.

Workshop: Horses
Leah Heim will share her love of horses with us as she teaches us to groom and care for these magnificent creatures.

Playdate at the Warehouse
Join us the first Friday of every month at our winter warehouse location between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. Get the kids together to play while the homeschooling moms chat. Bring a snack for your kids or one to share. Come at whatever time works for you and stay for as long or as short as you can. We hope to see you there!

Nature Walk & Journaling
Nature Walk & Journaling
Join us on a nature walk to explore and discover the natural world around us. This walk location includes a pond habitat, a reservoir habitat as well as a forest habitat. After the walk we will return to the picnic table area to discuss our observations & record some of them in our nature journals.
Nature walks are best in smaller groups so we will divide into two groups. There will be a preschool/toddler program held at the same time. Pack a picnic and arrive at 12pm if you wish for lunch and a playtime before the walk begins.

Workshop: Essential Oils for Kids
Come explore the benefits and uses of essential oils in this hands-on workshop geared for children. There will be several make-and-takes included (playdough, brownies, etc).
Meet for lunch at 12pm (optional) at the Northampton Municipal Park Playground - 281 Hatboro Rd. Churchville, PA
