FIRST Lego League is an excellent opportunity to do some hands on STEM. Depending on your grade level you will be competing in a different challenge. You might just be designing and building with LEGOs, you might be programing a robot that completes a challenge. You will definitely be having fun.
You can get involved in this program either through the district or by getting a group of friends and an adult and getting started. The next challenge will not be released until the fall, but you can work on the innovation challenge starting in January.

It is currently closed due to COVID, but there are all kinds of fun things on their website.
This is another fun local museum to visit when COVID is over, it has all kinds of fun engineering toys to build and play with. They currently have a lot of virtual programming and you can buy kits to bring home and build.
