Water Rates

For more than seventy-two years, the Central Water District has been dedicated to providing high-quality drinking water to its customers, ensuring water is readily available for all its customers’ needs. The District is also committed to openly communicating with its customers about the services it provides and the costs associated with these services.

At the Public Hearing, held on November 20, 2023, the Central Water District Board of Directors approved the below rate increase.  This increase will be effective January 1, 2024, and subsequent rate increases will be implemented annually through 2028.  This five-year rate increase schedule ultimately ensures that your water system will be fully operational for years to come, as the District remains fiscally responsible while continuing to replace and maintain its aging infrastructure, and employ a strong workforce so that the District remains compliant with current and new regulatory requirements.

In all, the mission of the Central Water District’s Board of Directors and staff remains unchanged, as we continue to strive to provide District customers with the highest water quality, lowest water rates in the county, and the best customer service.
