Governance
The District is governed by a publicly-elected, five-person Board of Directors that holds public meetings on the third Monday of each month. The day-to-day administrative and operational functions are conducted with a staff of 5 employees. The Districts’ operating plan and certified personnel are regulated and certified by the State Water Resources Control Board.

Regular meetings are scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. UNLESS the third Wednesday of the month is a holiday, in which case the meeting will be held on the Thursday following the third Wednesday of the month.
Regular meetings are held at the Central Water District Office at 400 Cox Rd. Aptos, California.
