Cellubong was a welcoming activity organized by CELLS officers and upper-year English majors to greet and support first-year English major students. The event aimed to help freshmen feel comfortable and connected as they begin their academic journey.

Procurement of Organization Printer
The procurement of the organization’s printer was an important initiative aimed at improving the operational efficiency of CELLS. By acquiring this equipment, the organization gained a reliable resource for printing academic materials, official documents, and activity-related files needed throughout the semester. This helped reduce the need to rely on outside printing services and allowed officers to prepare documents more quickly and conveniently.
Furthermore, the printer greatly supported the organization’s daily tasks and program preparations. It made documentation and communication more organized and efficient for various activities. This initiative also reflects CELLS’ commitment to responsible resource management and its goal of providing better service and support to its members.
CELLSTHREAD: Bulletin Board Making
CELLSTHREAD: Bulletin Board Making was a collaborative activity that focused on improving the organization’s bulletin board as a platform for sharing important information. Through this initiative, members worked together to design and organize a visually appealing display that featured announcements, academic highlights, and updates about the organization.
In addition, the activity encouraged creativity, teamwork, and active participation among Cellians. The improved bulletin board helped make important information more accessible to students and strengthened the organization’s visibility within the campus. Overall, the activity reflected the identity, values, and active spirit of CELLS.
CELLS & Co.: Project THRIVE
CELLS & Co.: Project THRIVE was an income-generating project organized by CELLS during the celebration of the 26th Founding Anniversary of Batangas State University – The NEU, Jose B. Zuño Rosario Campus. The project involved setting up a merchandise booth where students could purchase CELLS-branded items such as house shirts, customized keychains, bracelets, and button pins.
Through this initiative, the organization was able to generate funds to support its future programs and activities. At the same time, the project promoted unity and pride among Cellians by encouraging them to support their organization. Project THRIVE also helped strengthen the sense of community and engagement among students within the campus.
CELLS SYNC
CELLS Sync was an academic initiative organized to strengthen the research culture within the organization by encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing among students. The activity served as a platform where senior members presented their research outputs, experiences, and insights to junior members. Through this peer-led colloquium, participants were introduced to different research ideas, methodologies, and academic practices that could help them better understand the value and relevance of research in their academic journey.
The activity also aimed to foster mentorship and intellectual engagement within the organization. By creating an environment where students could openly ask questions, exchange ideas, and learn from one another, CELLS Sync helped junior members gain confidence in exploring their own research interests. At the same time, senior members were able to share their expertise and guide others in developing critical thinking and academic curiosity, strengthening the organization’s commitment to producing informed and research-driven students.
Project READ
Project READ was an outreach program initiated by CELLS to support students from Dagatan Integrated National High School who were experiencing challenges in reading comprehension and arithmetic skills. The activity focused on providing targeted learning support through tutoring sessions, guided exercises, and interactive learning strategies. These interventions were designed to help students improve their literacy and numeracy abilities while creating a more engaging and supportive learning environment.
Through the dedication of CELLS members who served as mentors and facilitators, the project provided students with encouragement, guidance, and personalized assistance during the sessions. The initiative not only helped enhance the students’ academic skills but also promoted confidence and motivation in learning. Furthermore, Project READ highlighted the organization’s commitment to community engagement by extending educational support beyond the university and contributing to the academic development of younger learners.
Book Lathala is a publication initiative organized by the Circle of English Language and Literature Students (CELLS) that promotes collaboration and academic support among its members. The project introduces a digital repository through Google Drive where students can upload and access academic materials such as modules, presentations, instructional resources, and other scholarly outputs.
Through this platform, members are encouraged to share learning resources that can benefit other students in the organization. By making academic materials accessible, the project supports continuous learning while promoting cooperation, creativity, and academic excellence among future educators.
Leadership Link was an initiative organized to enhance the leadership skills of classroom officers from different year levels within the CELLS organization. The activity provided student leaders with an opportunity to develop teamwork, communication, and collaboration while reflecting on their roles and responsibilities within their classes.
The program also aimed to build participants’ confidence and sense of responsibility as emerging leaders. Through discussions and leadership-related activities, students were encouraged to take initiative and guide their peers effectively within their academic community.
Literaverse was an academic and motivational event organized for English major students to provide guidance and inspiration in their academic journey as future educators. The activity featured a keynote speaker who shared experiences, insights, and practical advice that encouraged students to reflect on their goals and aspirations.
Through these discussions, students gained a better understanding of the responsibilities and opportunities within the teaching profession. The event also created an engaging learning environment that inspired students to stay motivated and committed to their chosen field.
It is a membership structuring program organized by the Circle of English Language and Literature Students (CELLS) that groups all English major members into distinct houses within the organization. These houses—Structural Alchemists, Literary Voyagers, Blazing Linguists, and Valiant Poets serve as smaller community units that bring together students from different year levels and encourage stronger connections within the organization.
Through this house system, members have the opportunity to interact more closely with one another and build meaningful connections within their assigned houses. The initiative also promotes collaboration, friendly competition, and leadership opportunities while strengthening unity and a sense of belonging within the CELLS community.
