CELLIANS, Zunoans: Let's CELL-eberate!
The CELLS General Assembly was an organizational activity conducted to formally gather its members and launch the organization’s programs for the academic year. The assembly aimed to introduce the vision, mission, goals, and structure of CELLS while strengthening the sense of community among its members. During the event, the officers of the organization were formally inducted, and important information about the organization’s branches, upcoming projects, and student opportunities was presented. Inspirational messages from university officials and faculty members were also delivered to encourage student participation, leadership, and collaboration within the academic community.
Throughout the program, various activities were successfully carried out to engage the participants and showcase the talents of the CELLIANS. Ecumenical Service CELLS Group: Ignite and nourish our faith, spiritual bonds, and relationships
The Ecumenical Service was a spiritual activity aimed at strengthening the faith, unity, and relationships of students within the academic community. The program gathered students and faculty members in a moment of reflection and worship, beginning with registration and an opening prayer that created a solemn and meaningful atmosphere. The activity also included the singing of the National Anthem and the BatStateU Hymn, followed by welcome remarks and inspirational messages from faculty members who encouraged students to remain resilient, hopeful, and united in facing academic and personal challenges.
A highlight of the activity was the inspirational message delivered by the guest speaker, Pastor Dondon De Torres, whose talk emphasized the importance of overcoming rejection and recognizing its potential for personal growth and transformation. The message deeply resonated with the participants, leading to emotional reflections and meaningful group discussions among students. The event concluded with the presentation of a certificate of recognition and tokens of appreciation to the guest speaker. ART ACTionSHOW
The Act-Artshion Show was a creative event held on October 25, 2023, at the Batangas State University TNEU Rosario Campus Gymnasium. The activity aimed to showcase the artistic talents, creativity, and fashion sense of students through a themed runway presentation inspired by mythological gods and goddesses. The program began with registration and attendance, followed by an opening prayer, welcome remarks, and motivational messages from the CELLS adviser and project heads. The event also introduced the panel of judges who evaluated the participants based on their presentation, creativity, and overall performance.
During the competition proper, participants confidently presented their sustainable and creative costumes portraying various mythological figures while walking the runway and participating in production numbers and intermission performances. The program highlighted the students’ talents in fashion, performance, and artistic expression while promoting creativity and environmental awareness through sustainable fashion choices. At the end of the event, outstanding participants were recognized and awarded for their performances and special categories. Overall, the Act-Artshion Show successfully celebrated creativity, cultural appreciation, and student participation, demonstrating how art and fashion can promote innovation, confidence, and sustainability within the academic community.
CELLITS: CELLIANS Literary Treasures and Shares
A literacy-centered activity was held on October 26, 2023, at the Rosario Campus for students of the Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English. The activity aimed to promote a deeper appreciation for the English language and literature while encouraging students to explore creativity through writing. It also sought to foster cultural awareness and understanding by highlighting different literary traditions through various writing competitions. The program gathered participants from first-year to fourth-year students who competed in poetry, essay writing, and flash fiction categories, allowing them to express their ideas, emotions, and perspectives through the written word.
The event included the evaluation of entries by selected judges who assessed the participants’ works and determined the winners for each category. The awarding ceremony was conducted the following day to recognize the outstanding participants and to present certificates of appreciation to the judges for their contribution. Intermission performances and messages from organizers added engagement and inspiration to the program. The program featured competitions such as Spelling Bee, Declamation, and Impromptu Speech, each designed to highlight students’ mastery of language, pronunciation, critical thinking, and public speaking abilities.

Participants arrived in formal attire, creating a lively and celebratory atmosphere as they prepared for the different segments of the program. The event began with a processional walk where students confidently showcased their outfits, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the BatStateU Hymn, which strengthened the sense of pride and unity among those present.
