Performance Enablement Workshop
Changing the Curve is a discussion-based presentation designed to challenge traditional assumptions about workplace learning and explore the factors that drive sustained employee performance.
Rather than focusing solely on training as a solution, the presentation encourages participants to examine performance through a broader lens that includes environment, processes, tools, expectations, and support systems.
Organizations often view training as the default solution to performance problems, even when the root cause lies elsewhere.
The goal of this project was to encourage leaders and stakeholders to think more critically about performance challenges and consider a wider range of solutions beyond training.
I designed a facilitated presentation that uses discussion prompts, visual storytelling, and real-world examples to challenge common assumptions about workplace learning.
The session guides participants through a shift in perspective—from asking "What training should we build?" to asking "What is preventing performance?"
Participants examine common workplace challenges and explore how factors beyond training can influence performance outcomes.
Structured discussion prompts encourage participants to challenge assumptions and evaluate alternative solutions.
The roller coaster metaphor provides a memorable framework for understanding the ups and downs of employee performance and the factors that influence it.
