Veterans

Some of the veteran photographs in this exhibit are from the collection of the Waynesboro Heritage Foundation, Inc. These photographs once appeared in a local newspaper and were the starting point for this exhibit and project. We sought help from the community to find out more about the people in our collection and to find more veterans. We were able to locate a few veterans and have shared their stories in this exhibit. Several veterans were interviewed on the phone or by zoom. We encourage everyone to share any information they may have on family members or themselves so we can preserve these stories for future generations.
