CEGLOCアカデミックライティングサポートデスクは「ペーパーを校正する」ということが目的ではなく、

対話や共同作業をしたりしながら、書き手とチューターが英語の文章の問題点、修正方法について一緒に考えることを重視します。

このことを通して、書き手は自分自身で文章における問題点に気づき、

創造的に、批判的に、自信を持って書くことができるように支援してまいります。

The CEGLOC Academic Writing Support Desk was set up not for the purpose of “proofreading paper” but for the purpose of developing “independent writers” through tutoring and workshops.

It is important for writers and tutors to think together about problems in English sentences while interacting and collaborating with each other. 

During the session, our trained tutor will assist the writer to reach his/her goal by asking concept checking questions and guided discovery questions.

In doing this, the writer will be able to recognize the problems in the text by him/herself and help him/her to write creatively, critically, and confidently.

• 大学院生をチューターとして雇用開始 / Hired 4 graduate students to work as tutors at AWSD in October 2022

• AWSD 一周年記念イベント開催 / Launched AWSD's first-anniversary event (virtual) on February 21, 2023
