The training boat, Driac (pronounced Dry-ack) is a classic yacht built in 1930 operating out of Milford Haven.
She is bermudian rigged and fully modern in the way she sails, but has the atmosphere and character which can only be experienced in a classic wooden sailing vessel.
She has only 5 berths so you will never have more than a 4:1 teaching ratio.
Milford Haven, one of the great natural harbours of the world, with its busy port, marinas, quiet anchorages, dramatic coast and islands to visit.
The Haven is also perfectly placed for cruising the Pembrokeshire coast.
With a further 3 days this initial taster goes towards achieving Competent Crew.
This course is available regularly throughout the year.
