Catalina attended several different studios growing up and practiced mainly ballet through high school. She then attended Saint Mary's College of California and began to study modern dance; as well as baile folklórico and flamenco. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Saint Mary's College of California in 2019. She studied Hispanic Literature, Dance, and Art History. She also learned how to work collaboratively, manage her time well, incorporate feedback quickly, carry out deep analyses of different artistic works, and communicate her claims and thoughts clearly. She is currently working as an Assistant Teaching Artist with HeART with LINES, an Instructor in the Shawl-Anderson Youth Program, and in Studio Rentals at ODC. She is based in the Bay Area and hopes to continue dancing, teaching, and further exploring the dance world.
