Brenda Wood has spent much of her life in the tourism industry.  Working as a destination representative for a large tourism operator in Mexico, Cuba and Spain, she oversaw the arrivals of over 1,200 land and cruise passengers from Canada each week.  Once back in Ontario, she focused on marketing and sales for hotels, attractions and themed restaurants and then moved to the technology field with an online reservation system company. Prior to joining RTO8 nine years ago, she worked as a DMO in Southern Ontario and specialized in travel trade.  With RTO8 her focus has been on supporting the development of unique and authentic consumer experiences and the development of Canada's First Waterway Trail Town program.
