This is a technique / system known as “minimum moisture”. In other words, it uses just enough moisture to get the job done without soaking your carpets. It was designed specifically for low profile carpets and tiles.
Traditionally, these have been difficult to clean because you struggle to get any airflow (vacuum suction power) through these low, dense piles. Without air flow you cannot suck dirt out.
With hot water extraction, you can easily push dirt down to the base of the pile as it is being cleaned.
It looks great for a while (maybe a couple of days) and then, as the carpet dries out naturally, the dirt gets lifted backup to the surface.
This is called “wicking”.
This system has been designed to avoid this. This…
A/ breaks down the dirt better and
B/ Really speeds up the drying time.
Sometimes they can be dry in less than thirty minutes (but we don’t often tell anyone just in case it takes a bit longer).
This is fantastic in offices that have low profile carpets or tiles (most of them). You can have your carpets look great and smell really fresh.
