Trad has taken a back seat this time round. I barely worked on the submission pieces outside of class time and I found it quite a fun experience drawing human faces from life. I don't think their quality took too much of a hit and I'm really happy with the white on black paper piece. Rex was the hardest to get right (1st submission piece) and I do syruggle to render darker skin effectively.

I enjoyed working on this project and I'm quite impressed by the rendering I did in such a small amount of time

I loved sculpting and I loved the feeling of knowing things but how i hate not knowing so much. retopping without a plan when decimating was a big oopsy and I didn't give myself enough time to render and paint so the sculpt is doing all the heavy lifting. I can't wait to make a character with ease where all the technical difficulties I am having right now will be gone and I can focus on artistic decisions.
This was a tough end to the year. I tried super hard in game production this time round which unfortunately hasn't reaped many rewards in return but I can't wait to ACTUALLY GET GOOD AT THIS! I want to work on all the software and really get to know the ins and outs of them this summer.
