Sports and Fitness/ Pakari Tīnana
Students at Carlton are given a range of opportunities to develop their physical skills and capabilities. We believe that the more sports and physical activities students are exposed to at a young age the better socially, emotionally and physically equipped they will be life.
Many activities happen off-site as we make best use of community resources and skilled personnel.
Core Behaviours that are demonstrated through physical activities are:- Te Akiaki (Encouragement), Persistence, Ngākau Māhaki (Tolerance) and Striving for Accuracy.
