This is a great opportunity to join our Carlton whānau. We are a progressive school situated in the heart of Whanganui. This position commences at the beginning of term 1, 2026 (Feb 2nd), or at a later date by mutual agreement.
The successful applicant will have energy and inspiration to work with colleagues, ākonga and whānau to successfully shape the learning of our tamariki. Our new kaiako will put ākonga at the center, genuinely collaborate, and have skills that complement the existing teaching team.
We're looking for a forward-thinking teacher who challenges themselves, and is able to provide an innovative, culturally responsive learning environment that encourages and supports diverse learners. You’ll be willing to share, or grow, your knowledge and understanding of te Ao Māori. Teamwork and collegiality will go hand in hand with an engaging and positive outlook.
The position is working in a Y4 class.
