SPIRITUAL LIFE AT CAMP MERIBAH
At Camp Meribah, everything we do is centered around growing in faith. Our goal is to provide an environment where campers can unplug from distractions, connect with God, and strengthen their relationship with Christ. Whether through Bible studies, devotionals, worship, or personal reflection, we want every camper to leave with a renewed sense of faith and purpose.
OUR SUMMER 2026 THEME: "SEASONS"
"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven." – Ecclesiastes 3:1 (ESV)
This summer at Camp Meribah, we will be exploring the theme “Seasons,” inspired by Ecclesiastes 3:1. Throughout the week, campers will learn that life is made up of many different seasons—times of joy, challenge, growth, and change—and that God is present and working in every single one of them.
Through engaging lessons, meaningful discussions, and intentional activities, campers will be encouraged to trust God not just in the good seasons, but also in the difficult and uncertain ones. Our goal is to help them see that no matter what season they are in, God is faithful, God is near, and their lives have purpose.
Each week, campers will participate in Bible lessons, cabin devotionals, and group activities designed to help them understand how their faith applies to real life—not just at camp, but when they return home.

DAILY SPIRITUAL OPPORTUNITIES
Every day at Camp Meribah is filled with opportunities to grow spiritually through structured devotionals, Bible studies, and worship times.
Each morning, campers begin their day with a short devotional, featuring singing, a Bible lesson, and prayer. It’s a time to start the day with a Christ-centered focus.
Before bedtime, campers gather in their cabins for small group devotionals led by their counselors. These discussions allow campers to ask questions, reflect on the day’s lesson, and encourage one another.
Each night, the entire camp comes together for a powerful worship service together.
Worship includes:
✔ Uplifting acapella singing and praise
✔ A Bible lesson connected to our theme
✔ Moments of reflection and prayer.
Guys & Girls Bible Class (Every Other Day During Teen Week)
During Teen Week, our campers have the opportunity to study deeper into God's Word following our morning devotional every other day. Campers are split into guys and girls groups and have a guest speaker each day.
Each of these moments are often the most impactful part of camp, where many campers make important spiritual decisions that shape their future.
BAPTISMS & SPIRITUAL GROWTH
Camp Meribah has been a place where many campers dedicate their lives to Christ by obeying the Gospel. While some begin to think seriously about their faith, others decide to take the next step in their walk with God by being baptized. Baptism is never pressured onto campers, but the camp setting is often a time when campers think seriously about their faith.
If a camper expresses interest in baptism:
They will have the opportunity to talk with a counselor or minister.
They can study Scripture, ask questions, and pray about their decision.
If they choose to be baptized, parents are notified, and the baptism takes place at camp (or any other location if so desired) surrounded by fellow campers and friends.
Parents: If your child has spiritual questions after camp, we encourage you to continue the conversation at home or reach back out to us!
ENCOURAGING YEAR-ROUND SPIRITUAL GROWTH
Camp doesn’t end when the week is over! Our goal is to help campers continue growing in faith even after they leave.
How to Keep Growing Spiritually After Camp:
Stay connected with a church youth group or Bible study.
Continue daily devotionals using lessons learned at camp.
Pray regularly and seek God’s guidance in all areas of life.
Surround yourself with Christian friends who encourage and uplift you.
Camp Meribah is more than just a summer experience—it’s a place where faith is strengthened, friendships are built, and lives are changed.
