Camp LogJam 2026 requires volunteers to help run the camp program. Offers of Service volunteers can volunteer to attend at either or both of the camps of Camp LogJam 2026. There are many tasks that need to be done before, during, and after the camp.
Camp LogJam 2026 volunteers may be older Scouts (aged 13-14), Venturer Scouts, Rover Scouts, and Scouts Canada Leaders in any Section.
Offers of Service volunteers help plan the camp programs (meeting using Zoom), and may be asked to do pre-camp preparations such as helping to assemble craft kits or take on the organizing and running specific aspects of the camp program.
Offers of Service volunteers will be expected to arrive at Camp Byng at least one day before the start of camp to help with setup, will be assigned various tasks during the operation of the camps, and are expected to stay after the end of the second camp to assist with dismantling the camp.
All Offer of Service applications will be reviewed by the Camp LogJam 2026 committee, taking into consideration the needs of each camp, what the applicant can offer to Camp LogJam 2026 camps, and previous experience working with children within and outside of Scouting.
Offers of Service do not pay a fee to volunteer for Camp LogJam 2026 camps.
Registration for Volunteers for Camp LogJam 2026 will open on January 27, 2026
