CAMP LOGJAM 2025
PROGRAM OUTLINES

(Note that each day of Camp LogJam 2025 is different, but follows this general pattern)

All times are Pacific Daylight Time (PDT).

First Day of Camp LogJam 2025

  8:00 a.m.        Meet at Horseshoe Bay, and board the ferry departing Horseshoe Bay at about 9:50 a.m. to Langdale (snack on the ferry)

10:55 a.m.        Arrive at Camp Byng, get gear settled into your sleeping cabin (or the tent for your family that you brought to camp)

11:15 a.m.        Morning activities

12:30 p.m.        A delicious lunch

  1:15 p.m.        Afternoon activities

  3:30 p.m.        Afternoon snack, then more activities

  6:00 p.m.        Supper

  7:00 p.m.        Evening activities and campfire preparations

  8:15 p.m.        Campfire, followed by Mugup

  9:00 p.m.        Get ready for bed

  9:30 p.m.        Lights out

Second Day of Camp LogJam 2025

  7:00 a.m.        Rise and shine, tidy your sleeping hull or tent

  8:00 a.m.        Breakfast

  8:45 a.m.        Morning activities

10:30 a.m.        Morning snack, then more activities

12:30 p.m.        Lunch

  1:15 p.m.        Afternoon activities

  3:30 p.m.        Afternoon snack, then more activities

  6:00 p.m.        Supper

  7:00 p.m.        Evening activities and campfire preparations

  8:15 p.m.        Campfire, followed by Mugup

  9:00 p.m.        Get ready for bed

  9:20 p.m.        Outdoor movie (weather permitting)

  After Movie    Lights out - Option of youth and parent sleeping out under the stars (weather permitting)

Last Day at Camp LogJam 2025

  7:00 a.m.        Rise and shine, pack up your gear

  8:00 a.m.        Breakfast

  8:45 a.m.        Morning activities

10:00 a.m.        Morning snack, then more activities

12:00 p.m.        Lunch

12:45 p.m.        Afternoon activities

  2:00 p.m.        Afternoon snack

~2:15 p.m.        Camp Closing

~2:30 p.m.        Load onto bus to return to Langdale to take ferry to Horseshoe Bay

~4:15 p.m.        Arrive at Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal

Each Day, Camp LogJam camps will have special guests attending the camps. 

In order for campers to participate in the Low Challenge Course activity at Camp LogJam, parents/guardians will need to complete and sign the Scouts Canada "Parent-Guardian Consent Form for Category Three Activities".  This document will be forwarded to parents/guardians once your registration is received.
