Saturday, September 26 saw the most recent meeting of the Silver San Juan Division of the Rocky Mountain Region NMRA. A brief business meeting was held for the NMRA members for elections and Division bylaw changes.
Division Superintendent, Martin Pirnat, opened the general meeting, NMRA recruitment event by welcoming our two guest clinicians- Doug Geiger, a well-known and well published Master Model Railroader from Longmont, Colorado, his wife Barbara, and Tom Artzberger from Pagosa Springs. Martin followed this by leading the around the room introductions where the attendees introduced themselves and shared some modeling information such as scale and era.
Ray Schmudde asked for contributions for the Head Start program for providing the venue for this meeting. Ray then conducted the drawing for the first door prize, claimed by Phil Kuehl.
