The band area featured several guests while I was on maternity leave this Fall - alum James Gates served as acting Director of Wind Band Studies and we were fortunate to have Beth Peterson, Steve Peterson, and Paul Popiel in residencies.

We are in the midst of consortium planning for a double percussion concerto by Baljinder Sekhon to be premiered in Fall 2026 with our percussion professor Lee Hinkle.

The Symphonic Wind Ensemble will partner with JW Pepper to record new works at the end of the year.

Our football season has been tumultuous... but the season ends with the band traveling to New York for the PinStripe Bowl!
