The OSU Wind Symphony toured Japan for 15 days in May 2025.  Performances at the Musashino Acdemy of Music (Tokyo), the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, the PAC in Osaka, and the Japan Band Clinic in Hamamatsu.  

The OSU Symphonic Band hosted a residency titled "Artful Conversations" with Will Healy, Hannah Zazzaro, and Dizzy Senze of Shouthouse, which included the consortium premiere of Noctuary for Adé. 

The OSU Wind Symphony will be performing with the concerto winners of the North American Saxophone Alliance at their convention, March 13, 2026 here in Columbus.   

April 20-22, 2026: we will be hosting 95-year old composer David Amram for a three-day residency, culminating with the premiere of DMA student Shawn Davern's transcription of Amram's "This Land - Symphonic Variations on a Song by Woody Guthrie"
