Scholarship

Starting in 1980, Court St. John the Baptist began a scholarship program to offer an SJB parish youth money to advance her education. As of 2015, we have been able to provide scholarships to 35 recipients! The funds offered in the beginning were $300 and two years later was increased to $500. Since the TOPS program has been implemented in our state, the scholarship committee elected to keep the amount at $500 for the foreseeable future.

Applicants are judged by no less than five judges on factors including involvement at St. John the Baptist church, their Catholic faith journey, volunteerism and service, and their leadership and academic achievements. The application form (with instructions) can be downloaded below:
