With dozens of affiliated EMS agencies, organizations and training programs, the Brown EMS Division is the premier destination for expert Medical Direction in RI and beyond.

MDOC is a 24/7/365 service providing online medical control with a dedicated EMS physician to contracted agencies. Calls are managed through the RI Hospital Medical Communications Center and are recorded for QA/training purposes.

Our Division supports the RI Medical Reserve Corps in their mass gathering mission throughout the state including at marathons and music festivals.

Division members currently serve on Federal Disaster Medical Assistance Teams and Urban Search and Rescue Task Forces.
