EMS Fellowship

Practical

Our Fellowship is fundamentally about teaching you how to be an EMS Physician. We accomplish this by utilizing a myriad of relationships with area EMS agencies to provide an immersive experience in EMS medical direction, research and clinical care in the EMS environment

Clinical

EMS Fellows work clinically in the emergency departments of Lifespan as full EM Attendings. This includes 50% of required shifts in the dedicated Trauma/Critical care area of our Tertiary Academic Medical Center supervising EM Residents.

Diverse

One of the best parts of our fellowship is the diverse experience we offer. These allow for customization of the learning experience to meet individual career interests and allow for a broad exposure to EMS during training.

A day in the life...

Although there is no typical day for our EMS fellows, check out our mock schedule to get a sense of what a week in fellowship could look like.
