Yeah, we do that.

We don't just read about EMS. We DO EMS. Our physicians all work clinically in the prehospital environment, we have decades of EMS experience, many of us enjoyed careers as EMS providers before attending medical school.

We firmly believe that EMS Medical Direction is an active role. Your medical director should know your service, know your crews and deeply understand your operations.

In short, we show up.

Brown Emergency Medicine physicians are among fewer than 900 doctors in the nation with board certification/eligibility in Emergency Medical Services. We serve on national committees and are engaged in EMS issues throughout the country.
