Dyeing & Batik

In this lab I experimented with fabric dyes and coloration methods on damp squares of cotton muslin fabric. 

On Sample 1, I tested various tie-dye sprays before rinsing and drying.

On Sample 2, I tried the batik design method. This involves using hot wax to trace a pattern onto the fabric, which is then dyed and cleaned. After the dried wax is rinsed off, the fabric is left with a print of the wax pattern!
