Midterm: Half-Scale

For my midterm project, I designed a dress inspired by one my mom wore in the early 90's. In preparation for the final project, I patterned and sewed it in half-scale!

Design features: 

• Princess line seams

• Puff sleeves with elastic casing

• Dropped waistline

• Mermaid skirt

• Bias tape neckline stripes (applied topically)

• Removable shoulder and back bows
