Final Design

For my final project, I designed a matching denim blouse and skirt, inspired by chic Western country fashion. I wanted it to be fun, feminine, and the perfect country dancing outfit!

I patterned the top and skirt using my slopers, and then sewed the final garment.

Features include:

Blouse

• Fully lined bodice

• Gathered sleeve and waist ruffles, with lace overlay

• Fabric ties to create bows at center front

Skirt

• Waistband with shank button, buttonhole, and belt loops

• Fly zipper with fly guard

• Side front pockets with facing and french seam finish

• Reinforced back patch pockets

• Asymmetrical skirt hem
