What is it?
Remote learning is when the learner and teacher are separated by time and location and thus not being able to meet in person or in your traditional classroom. This is also different from online classes which have the intention to stay fully online and with many classes no face to face. Google meet is a way to video conference and keeps people connected. You have a way to engage students even when they cannot come to school for various reasons. You can have up to 100 people meet for up to an hour. This is important to know and use when we have situations happen where we still need to be able to reach out and teach our students. We just have to make sure they have the resources to be able to get on and join the class. And they have to know how to access the link depending on the grade they are in.
