Flipped learning is learning which starts from the group learning space to a more individual learning space. This becomes more dynamic, interactive, and fun where the teacher helps guide the student as they apply concepts and are engaged in the subject matter. Now you go to EdPuzzle where it is an easy platform for the teacher and the students to use. This allows the students to become more engaged one video at a time. This is important because it allows the students to watch the videos at their own pace. Thus giving the teacher more time in the classroom to work on other activities that will help reinforce other students what is being taught.
There were so many takeaways from this assignment. I already knew how to record on PowerPoint. I really need to improve on how to record voice better and add music in the background. I am still getting better with animations. The fan in the background I am still working on since my computer heats up fast. I was surprised by how easy it was to add to EdPuzzle and insert questions. I realized I left my empty slides open too long. It was supposed to be one second, not three which I noticed after I added the questions on EdPuzzle. I thought I did well overall but with practice, I will get better. I would totally recommend using flipped learning in the classroom. Even for the lower grades. As long as time is spent making sure everyone is on the same page on how to use the electronics it will be easier for everyone in the classroom to learn and grow. For the teachers, I think they should use EdPuzzle to help really engage with the students and make sure they are grasping what is being taught.
