TPACK is a model that helps teachers consider how their knowledge domains intersect so they can effectively teach and engage their students with technology. This keeps teachers on the right path to making sure that the students are learning what they need to and with the right technology to assist them. Interactive learning is building off TPACK using games, scenarios, puzzles, quizzes, and videos to help teach that material to students. It gives that more hands-on approach and brings deeper meaning to the students as they learn and bring the knowledge, they already know to bridge it all together.
. I really do love this approach to teaching and how interactive it is. I did well setting up Pear Deck and setting up the interactions within the slides. Pear Deck is a very easy tool to work with and easier to present to students. I did struggle to learn how to make sure I saved it to slides after uploading it from PowerPoint otherwise the add-ons do not work. Another thing I can improve is how I set up my lesson. I know I will get better as I have more opportunities to make them but I want to get better at how I set it up. I would recommend the use of TPACK/ Interactive lectures in the classroom. This really brings the learning to a new level for the students to engage and really learn the material in class. This way they are not just at a desk listening to the teacher. This is their chance to listen but be creative in showing how well they are comprehending that material too.
