The Winter Showcase & The Nutcracker Remixed

The opportunity to perform in one of our winter productions is an exciting, empowering, and confidence-building part of every dancer's training. Dancers enrolled in our Sprouts, Seedlings, and Saplings-level classes will perform in our Winter Showcase, while dancers enrolled in Aspens and higher will take the stage in our Nutcracker Remixed. Dancers participating in Nutcracker Remixed will be performing in both the 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM showings. These performances introduce students to theatre etiquette, rehearsals, teamwork, and the joy of showcasing the skills they have worked so hard to develop in a professionally produced performance. Whether performing in the Winter Recital or Nutcracker Remixed, every dancer has the opportunity to build confidence, create lasting memories, and celebrate their growth alongside their Branches of Dance family.

We believe all students, even our youngest and newest performers, deserve the chance to shine in a supportive and fun environment. If, for any reason, your child is unable to participate in their scheduled winter performance or, for Nutcracker Remixed dancers, either of the two scheduled performances, on the dates and times listed in this handbook, please notify us as soon as possible so we can make the necessary adjustments to their class routines.

As we approach our winter performance season, attendance becomes especially important. Consistent class participation helps dancers feel confident and prepared while allowing each class to rehearse together to create polished, unified routines. We understand that schedules can become busy, so please notify us by phone or email if your dancer will be absent so we can plan accordingly.

Please also note that dancers with unpaid fees will not be permitted to participate in their winter performance. All account balances must be paid by November 1, 2026.
