Support the next generation of scientists!
At the Bobcat Research Institute at BLHS, we are nurturing the next generation of scientists and innovators. Our high school students are conducting significant and creative research in a wide range of fields, from plant physiology and engineering to environmental science and computer science.
Your donation will help us to provide our students with the resources they need to succeed, including access to state-of-the-art equipment, mentorship from leading scientists, and opportunities to present their work at national and international conferences.
We are working hard in cooperation with our parent support group to raise the startup funds needed to kickstart these student research projects.
Our initial goal for 2024-2025 is $15,000.
In our first year (2023-2024) we raised just under $12,000 and spent just under $10,000.
How your donation will make a difference:
Your donation will help us to purchase new research-grade equipment and supplies for our students' research projects.
Your donation will help us to send students to symposia and competitions where they will present their own work, as well as learn from experts in the field.
Your donation will help us to provide financial assistance to students who need it so that they can focus on their research.

To donate in the most expedient way to the Bobcat Research Institute, please visit the link above. We are partnering with local business CampPros to manage donations through the school.
You can donate either online or by mail. Donations by mail should be made out to BLHS (Basehor-Linwood High School) with "Bobcat Research Institute" in the memo line.
