Once the loan documents have been emailed/posted to the bank, check bank's SLA for certification and let the clients know.
Once certified, email solicitor > mercury template "File ready to be booked" and ensure you CC clients in this.
Keep the follow up tasks accordingly to check with bank for settlement booking.
Once bank confirms that the settlement has been booked, few things to double confirm with banks:
Have all parties accepted the booking?
Settlement booking date and time
Shortfall account details
Ensure you tick "settlement confirmed" in the first page of opportunity below the settlement date before you email the clients.
Once all the confirmation has been received from the bank, email clients "settlement booked" email. Use mercury funding position to calculate the shortfall amount for purchase for approx. shortfall figure.
