Community Park Clean-up

The BFT has adopted Gene C Kelly Playfields and Pond-Dakota Mission Park.  As the guardians of these parks we are asked to do a clean up a few times a year.

For the clean-ups, please bring yourself and family members/friends in BFT gear or black.

• We will meet at the Southwest parking lot.  

• Bring gardening gloves and some plastic grocery bags.  

• We will provide large garbage bags.

VEAP Food Drive

In spring, BFT members distributed bags to residents throughout the community for VEAP's annual food drive.  BFT members walked door to door to pick up food donations and delivered all donations to VEAP.

Supporting Local Businesses

BFT members regularly gather as a group at Bloomington businesses for socializing and support the local economy.

Books for Kids

BFT collects gently used children's books for kids in the community.  The book donations are distributed to residents at the Bloomington Heritage Day parade in the fall.
