Older, looking to restart-reinvigorate career - may have previous profession but wanting to add skills and passion to that. Might be a back-to-work parent.

Ideal first job:

A purpose driven role that builds upon previous skills (eg. if was a teacher than learning about online instructional design, or alternative forms of education).

Dream role:

Running a regeneration project for a community- applying past skills in a new and innovative setting. Similar industry that was worked in previously, but with an updated and refreshed skill set, with more passion and drive than before.

BLfC journey:

Identify passion. Possibly has preconceived ideas of learning. Probable self-doubt at start. Has other commitments (family) making placements etc tricky.

Particular requirements for course structure:

Review of learning important to identify moments that have motivated so these can be built on.

Risk:

Option paralysis. Freezes when given choices.

Transformative learning:

Overcoming the shame of past failure and not knowing passion when surrounded by highly motivated people .
