At the end of the degree, learners will present to a panel and articulate their professional framework of practice, and give evidence as to the alignment of this to the graduate profile and learning outcomes. This forms the basis for much of the assessment throughout the degree - the development of the learner’s “exit strategy”.
An individual's exit strategy contains their framework of practice, and a pathway towards their career
The end game of assessment throughout the degree is explicitly linked to the degree graduate profile. The “exit strategy” approach also enables an on-going focus on the learners’ network, portfolio and employment. This exit strategy is the focus of regular reflection and planning sessions throughout the degree. Particular competencies and capabilities may be evidenced through specific assessments, but as a guiding rule, these are practice based.
