We were successful in receiving a £500 grant to purchase a speed monitoring device, signage and training for local volunteers through the Black Mount Community Council microgrant scheme.

The community survey told us 94% of respondents were concerned about the changing climate we are working with Lanarkshire Climate Action Hub to run an autumn workshop to see what we can do around climate readiness across Black Mount.

We got our charitable status in May and are working towards full membership of Development Trusts Association Scotland (DTAS) - so a few of our trustees have secured bursary places to attend the DTAS annual conference in August.
