We would love to welcome you as a FRIEND OF BLACK MOUNT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TRUST SCIO (that's what we call our members) Here’s what you can expect:

✅ Get involved in shaping priorities and decision-making
✅ Vote at AGMs and contribute to how the trust is run
✅ Help us build a better, safer, more connected Black Mount
DOES IT COST MONEY TO BE A FRIEND? No it is free
DO I HAVE TO VOLUNTEER MY TIME? No, not unless you want to. We will share opportunities to volunteer for events and activities but there is no obligation to give up your time. We will have regular meetings, open to the public, and you are welcome to join these to share your ideas and views.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS? Be the first to hear about our activities and events and importantly - have your voice heard! You will be invited to our open meetings to share your views and ideas, and you get a vote at our AGM.
HOW TO JOIN: Fill in the application on this page to become a friend for FREE. We will keep you up to date on all our activities and you are invited to future annual general meetings. Our friends (members) code of conduct is HERE.
FULL MEMBERS must be 16+ and live within the boundaries of Black Mount community council boundary
JUNIOR MEMBERS must be 12-15 and live within the boundaries of Black Mount community council boundary
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS are individuals aged 16+ and are those living outside of the boundaries of Black Mount community council area, or groups within/outwith Black Mount who would like to be members
