Every day, we have choices to make. Should I be kind? Should I listen? Should I tell the truth? We don't always make the right choice, but God knew that would happen. Because he loves us, God made ways for us to know how to live in a way that would show waht living for him looks like. 

The book of Proverbs is a book filled with wisdom that teaches us how to live God's way. That means God helps us choose what is right.

We see this in Proverbs 3:5-6. It says:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

The verse tells us that when we trust God and follow him, he will help us know which way to go. We know that we won't always get it right, but Jesus did. He followed God perfectly, and because he lived that was, he took the punishment for our sins so that we could be forgiven.
