Certified Carbon Footprint Auditor

I am delighted and honored to officially announce that on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, I received the Carbon Footprint Auditor Diploma along with my license to practice as a "Carbon Footprint Auditor." This certification is issued by the National Quality Institute (NQI) in cooperation with the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality (EOS).

It was an intensive learning journey spanning 42 weeks and 168 training hours, supervised by an elite group of leading experts and specialists in sustainability and carbon footprint in Egypt and the Middle East: (Dr. Ikram Said, Dr. Eslam Amin, Dr. Rania Ismail, Dr. Reham Bodeer, Dr. Fatma Ali, Dr. Mohamed Farag, Eng. Ayman Refaie, Eng. Moataz Kelany, Eng. Noha Attia, Eng. Mohamed Abdelmonem, Eng. Nagi Abdeldayem, Eng. Adel Mohamed Taha).

I would also like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Samah Ammar, Director of the National Quality Institute, for her outstanding leadership of this program, as well as to my fellow trainees from various industrial and environmental sectors who enriched our discussions and knowledge exchange throughout the training.

A Note of Gratitude and Dedication: This success would not be complete without acknowledging those who supported me along the way:

• My Family: A special thanks to my dear wife, "Um Omar," who created a supportive and stable environment, and to my children, who were my greatest support during my studies.

• Eng. Mohamed Gabr: A dear friend who guided my focus toward the field of Carbon Credits back in 2020 and supported efforts to transfer international expertise to the Egyptian and Arab markets.

To the Memory of Those Who Planted the Love of Knowledge in Me: I dedicate this success to the memory of my father, El-Hag Farouk Abdel-Tawab, who was always my primary inspiration in pursuing knowledge, and to the memory of my dear mother—may God rest her soul—who was my role model in wisdom, intelligence, and diligence.

This certification is merely a first step in a professional journey through which I aim to actively contribute to emission reduction projects, support carbon accounting frameworks, and assist in issuing carbon certificates in local and international markets, in line with global trends toward a green economy.

يسعدني ويشرفني أن أعلن عن حصولي رسمياً، يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 9 يونيو 2026، على دبلومة مدقق البصمة الكربونية، بالإضافة إلى رخصة مزاولة المهنة كـ "مدقق بصمة كربونية" (Carbon Footprint Auditor)، وذلك من قِبل المعهد القومي للجودة بالتعاون مع الهيئة العامة للمواصفات والجودة.

لقد كانت رحلة تعليمية مكثفة امتدت لـ 42 أسبوعاً بواقع 168 ساعة تدريبية، تحت إشراف نخبة من كبار الخبراء والمتخصصين في مجال الاستدامة والبصمة الكربونية في مصر والشرق الأوسط، وهم:

كما أتقدم بخالص الشكر والتقدير للدكتورة سماح عمار، مدير المعهد القومي للجودة، على إدارتها المتميزة لهذا البرنامج، ولزملائي المتدربين من مختلف التخصصات الصناعية والبيئية الذين أثروا النقاشات وتبادل الخبرات خلال فترة التدريب.

كلمة شكر ووفاء:

لا يكتمل هذا النجاح دون الاعتراف بفضل من كانوا سنداً لي في هذه الرحلة:

عائلتي: أخص بالشكر زوجتي العزيزة "أم عمر" التي هيأت لي بيئة داعمة ومستقرة، وأبنائي الذين كانوا خير عون لي خلال فترة الدراسة.

المهندس محمد جبر: الصديق العزيز الذي كان له الفضل في توجيه بوصلتي نحو مجال "أرصدة الكربون" (Carbon Credits) منذ عام 2020، ودعم مساعي نقل الخبرات الدولية إلى السوق المصري والعربي.

فريق عمل شركة "باور جرين للطاقة المستدامة": وعلى رأسهم المهندس حسين الديب والأستاذ عمرو بلال، لدعمهم المرونة في جدول أعمالي بما مكنني من استكمال هذا البرنامج التدريبي.

إلى روح من غرسوا فيَّ حب العلم:

أهدي هذا النجاح إلى روح والدي الحاج فاروق عبدالتواب، الذي كان دائماً الحافز الأول لي في طلب العلم، وإلى روح والدتي العزيزة، رحمها الله، التي كانت قدوة لي في الحكمة والذكاء والاجتهاد.

إن هذه الشهادة ليست إلا خطوة أولى في مسيرة مهنية أطمح من خلالها للمساهمة بفاعلية في مشاريع خفض الانبعاثات، ودعم آليات حساب البصمة الكربونية وإصدار شهادات الكربون في الأسواق المحلية والدولية، تماشياً مع التوجهات العالمية نحو الاقتصاد الأخضر.
