Biological Interfaces Lab

SOGANG UNIVERSITY . SEOUL . KOREA

The goal of our research group is to understand a broad range of macroscopic properties of polymers, bio-related materials and interactions at the various interfaces on a molecular level. Our major research themes are ranging from the most common to the most advanced products in the forms of bio-membaranes, extracellular matrix, self-assembled biomimetic structures, as a part of our final goal in "artificial cells" .and the formulation of conductive inks, inkjet printed paper chips, and 3D printers. Our activities are artistically sketched in the artwork in the background (This artwork kindly drown by Keraghen of Harvard University, 2018). We are exploring fundamental aspects as well as applicable techniques, relating to the structure and properties of various hybrid materials. 2018 YES Workshop (Aug. 30-31, 2018)

(Together with DH Kim's in Ewha & DH Kim's lab in Yonsei)

At a resort in Gapyung, 2018 YES (Yonsei-Ewha-Sogang) Workshop was held, and most of our members participated. Giho & Yunpyo presented their recent works, and enjoyed the fresh-weather of Buk-Han-gang with BBQ.
