Introduction
Our Mission
We are hoping to help children learning Chinese or English expand their vocabulary through a fun and captivating experience by using classic children books. Our videos are done through video format, where audio and the image of the picture is added together, along with music, to simulate a virtual story time effect. We hope that our bilingual videos will be a useful resource to children eager to learn either language and we invite you to join us!

Team Captain/Editor
Once all of the steps have been done above, the editor will be in charge of putting together the videos, therefore if you are thinking of being an editor you will have a great responsibility for the progression of our group. We will title every editor as a team captain, their responsibilities will include:
1) Contacting their teams' members and make sure they are up to date with their tasks. We hope that the teams are stable and rarely change members, but they are by no means permanent
2)Responsible for the tasks getting done on time
3)Every season, one or more videos should be produced, if you find that you can't meet these standards, you need to contact your group members as soon as possible to find new opportunities that they can finish on time
4)If you do not have any editing experience, but would still like to try it out, please refer to the videos under the Production Studio titled "Editing"
Outside English Reader Help
We hope that our Chinese and English reading reach a certain point of clarity and pronunciation, therefore, if you find yourself needing an English reader or Chinese reader, and you have a friend that would be willing to do it, please contact them.
Example Book
This is an excellent example that should be referred to before beginning a video:
Picking the Book: There aren't too many pages, every page doesn't have over 10 sentences; the pictures are clear and interesting; the introduction captured the audience's attention
Translations: It was conversational, felt more engaging with the audience; the the translations were covering the English text and there wasn't a shift in movement from the Chinese picture to the English picture.
Reading: The readers did a simple introduction to the book, which helped capture the audience's attention; the pronunciation is clear and accurate, and the tone matched with the context of the book
Editing: Both readers images were together along with the book to show more of a team effort. Both readers voice level were about the same volume; used the pan & zoom to stimulate movement with the text and also engage the reader; the transition between English and Chinese text did not have an abnormal shift and was smooth most of the way through; the music fit the mood and context of the story
