Notes: Last Exile is an anime with art-deco era dieselpunk flying cars ("vanships"). The show itself is....ok. The visuals are amazing. I liked the alternative white scheme that this came in, more than the standard red as per the show. The kit was a dream run to build.

Notes: Not exactly sci-fi, but it doesn't really fit anywhere else on the site, given it's from Anime. This was the nicest kit I have ever built. It just fell together.

Robotech / Macross

Vehicle: VF-1A Valkyrie

Notes: I was a Robotech Kid in the 80s. Watched it religiously every Saturday morning. Ideally I want to build Roy Fokker's Valkyrie but kits are pretty expensive. I found this at a very reasonable price. It's the 5000th (built) Anniversary Scheme. The decal sheet was bonkers! By far the most demanding part of the build was the decals.
