At least 16 years old, preference is given to 17+
2.5 gpa or higher
Attend a high school located in Milwaukee
Have completed a Brighter Futures service - Job Readiness Training, Financial Literacy, Social Emotional Development, Career Exploration, etc.
Be able to dedicate 4+ hours to the course every week
IT through Brighter Futures x Herzing
The course is 100% online
If your grade falls below a C you will be required to come into The Ready Center twice a week to complete class work.
There are four terms
Term 1: IS 123 Computer Network
Term 2: IS Computer Architecture and Troubleshooting
Term 3: NT Network and Server Operating Systems
Term 4: NT Network Infrastructure
IS 123 and IS 187 prepare you for the A+ certification exam. NT 181 and NT 201 prepare you for the Network + certification.
*There could be some variation in the order of the IT courses depending on what is being offered each term*
