You don't have to be a senator to be involved in Student Senate. Student Senate is made up of nine commissions that interact with many different aspects of life on campus - so there is something for everyone.

Represents student academic interests to the faculty, administration, and the UW system.
Keeps the Student Senate in touch with the student body at large to promote activities, programs, and services.
Promote change within UW-Eau Claire to ensure equity of outcome for all students.
Allocate all allocable segregated fees to activities and student organizations.
Maintain a high quality information technology environment for students through both policy and purchases.
Represent the student body in legislative bodies of the UW system, the city of Eau Claire, and the state of Wisconsin.
Serves as the link from Student Senate to student organizations on campus.
Allocate the UW-Eau Claire Green Fund for projects, programs, and events addressing various areas of sustainability.
The campus-wide events programming board.
