Meet Lauren Garbisch, On-Campus Senator and History Liberal Arts Major, Class of 2024. 

Lauren's natural love and curiosity in the realm of history is what sparked and drove this project. Her passion for student affairs not only pushes her to cultivate a lively and inclusive campus community, but drives her to want to understand the culture of UW–Eau Claire, past, present, and future. 

In addition to being an On-Campus Senator, Lauren has also served as a Resident Assistant in Bridgman Hall, an Orientation Assistant, and one of the Late Night Chairs for the University Activities Commission (UAC). Her tireless dedication to enriching student life makes her a well-rounded campus leader, the epitome of Blugold Spirit.

Meet RJ Murray, On-Campus Senator and Secondary Social Studies Education Major, Class of 2024. 

As a dedicated student of Secondary Social Studies Education, RJ is not only passionate about history but also committed to shaping the next generation's understanding of it. Passion for school spirit goes hand in hand with his love for history, as they use their knowledge to ignite a sense of pride and belonging among his peers.

RJ is not just a scholar but also a spirited leader, serving as the Lead Wingman for Blu the Blugold, the university's beloved mascot, and Media Intern for the Student Senate's Communications Commission. As a devoted member of the UW-Eau Claire community, RJ is excited to contribute to the rich history of the university, leaving an indelible mark for generations to come.
