Transformed from a white rose. Her abilities are focused more on healing and protection. Although she gets tongue tied when actually trying to talk to them, Sikue has a fascination with the human way of life. Her soft-heartedness sometimes stretches to a fault, making her gullible or easy to take advantage of, but that does not necessarily mean that she cannot put up a struggle. 

She's often exasperated with her flower companion, Tatsuma, but they rely on one another. As for Yokiro, she can't help but be interested in everything he does. ( "I-it's just because human's are fascinating! o//,//o" ) She has a passion for learning.

Transformed to a benta (human-hybrid) from a dragonfly. Ginari was Zesh's first creation and, from him, was granted the ability to create dragons. She'll pursues her orders in hunting down the flower benta, but has a strong desire for freedom. 

She's has a protective and motherly relationship with Mae, and is also forming a keen bond with Tōcko, as they find they have a lot in common. Recently, though, she's been acting a little strange...

Once a brawling tom-cat, Tōcko shares the same mother as Mae. He hasn't been a benta as long, which leaves his english very broken, but his intentions are straight forward and he's skilled at reading what people are saying. Being fierce and with an independent nature, there is a lot to be said about his feelings towards his master.

Yokiro's older brother who moved out, hopeful to live a fulfilling life, and was actually extremely underwhelmed with what the world in their small island has to offer. Now he's stuck with the job of moving imported goods. He enjoys company but enjoys the quiet even more-so. Seshun's language and wits are articulate, and it's enough to get on Yokiro's nerves when Seshun outshines Yokiro as the 'perfect child'. 

Seshun just seems to have his own moments of misbehavior, but is better at not getting caught. ( Rumor says he secretly has womens' clothing in his closet! Dun dun dun! )

Janice Boshey was evidently a bit of a "wild child" in her younger years, but has settled down and lived happily with her family until all had passed but her grown daughter, who lives a long distance from her. (2 sons passed at young ages and her husband passed 5 years before she's introduced in the story) She spends her life in her gardening business, creating remedies and medicines from the plants as well as decorative arrangements. She's become rather overbearing, but maybe she just really likes to have company, being an empty nester.

A more private individual, maybe even a little shy, Deshin is drawn to Yoruki's bright shining nature. He works as a carpenter. While Yoruki insisted on keeping the strange flower girls, Deshin kept a suspicious eye on them, knowing very well they weren't human and could be a danger to his fiancé/wife. A bit overprotective and irrational, his heart was at least in the right place. 

He was regretful of his treatment of the girls soon after he saw the damage done with turning the townspeople against them. He's certainly not keen on trying new things. A man of method.
