A newlywed couple are thrilled to begin the next stage of their lives together, but Sikue cannot help feeling something is wrong.
SPOILER AND COOTIE ADVISORY - This takes place after the ending of the main series with a subject matter that might be icky (and perhaps boring) for some, especially youngins. Not necessarily graphic, but some rather... intimate post-marital affairs. In short, beware of cooties.
Drawn around 2018. For all the fun I had building up the romance between Yokiro and Sikue over the years, I got really sloppy in the way I handled their relationship in the ending and epilogue. I have more planned in the reboot that will invalidate major facets of this side-comic, still, but I consider this comic a lot truer to the characters than the epilogue.
Hate to break it to you, Yokiro, but your self-control is doomed.

The main question I assume one might ask while reading this is:
"Why did Yokiro propose to her, in the first place, if he was this worried over physical intimacy?"
His answer to that question would be "I was selfish". He wanted her by his side. He was worried Sikue would give up on him or meet someone better if he didn't act. This was his compromise, but he didn't realize how poorly it would turn out, in execution.
Truth is, the guy is also very insecure. His knowledge of the birds and the bees isn't much greater than Sikue's (not that he recognizes this). He knows he FEELS the desire. Does Sikue? How awkward would that be if he made a move and then found out that Sikue was a completely asexual creature? Or worse, that he's actually some big gross brute who traumatizes Sikue by acting on any urges?
